Do you provide repairs to rentals?

No. We focus on preserving affordable homeownership.

May I recommend a candidate for home repair?

Yes. If you know a homeowner that could benefit from no cost home repairs please share about Rebuilding Together Oakland's rebuilding programs.  You may call in or email a referral.

Do I qualify if I still owe on my mortgage?

Yes. Owing on your mortgage is okay.

I do not live in Oakland, may I still apply?

No. Rebuilding Together Oakland serves homeowners and community facilities in Oakland. Please visit the Rebuilding Together national website to find an affiliate near you: www.rebuildingtogether.org

If selected will I need to work on the repairs?

No. We require that all able-bodied family and friends over the age of 14 who are at home on the workday help out in some way.
