We Want You to Move About Your Home Safely & Confidently!

The Safe at Home program performs modifications and minor repairs in the house so homeowners can move about their home safely.  Modifications include grab bars, raised toilet seat adapters, shower stools, handheld showers, stair railings, smoke, fire and carbon monoxide detectors.   These modifications are performed year-round.

Minor Repairs are assessed on a case by case basis, but can include light carpentry, plumbing and other minor issues.  Homeowners are also encouraged to request an energy efficiency audit.  As a result you may be eligible to receive energy efficiency upgrades at no cost to you.
